Central Gauteng Cycling

Central Gauteng Cycling (CGC), serves the broader central part of Johannesburg. CGC is one of 5 Regions that reside under the Provincial Body – Gauteng Cycling.  CGC covers multiple disciplines namely: Road, Time trial, Track, MTB, BMX and Para-cycling across all ages categories and experience levels.

CGC has also launched a development program to bring cycling to the less privileged. CGC is affiliated to Cycling South Africa and is a member of the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), which governs international cycling, and the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).  CGC is also a member of the Gauteng Sport Confederate.

Central Gauteng Cycling have 4151 members for 2020 and show a steady growth.
