Nelspruit Cycling Club

Nelspruit Cycling Club was Established in 2016 by 5 riders under a tree who were looking for a more relaxed and social club. In 2017 we were registered and affiliated with Cycling South Africa.

Nelspruit Cycling Club is a relaxed club with riders from all ages, participating at all levels, from beginners to experienced riders.

Nelspruit Cycling Club hosted its first race (The Kudu MTB Challenge) at Lowveld High School in 2019.

We pride ourselves in staying behind after a ride or race to support those who still need to finish, and reward ourselves with Boerewors rolls and refreshing drinks for the hard “work” on the trails.

Nelspruit Cycling Club Membership fees are payable before the end of March of each year. Pensioners and Family packages are available.

The 1st member of a family will pay R300,
2nd R150,
3rd R100,
4th R50.
Any family larger than 4 members will only pay R600.
Pensioners over 65years will pay 1st R250, 2nd R100.

There is also a Social Club to cater for those who want to register with CSA for their membership or racing license.

Social Club members will pay R100

We request a copy of your ID with the filled in Membership form.

Cycling Shirts is R644.

All rides are communicated via What’s app Group.

There are members who do ride during the week, some in the morning, some in the afternoon. on STRAVA you can see what’s the routes the Club members tend to ride.

There are members with road bikes, Triathlon and Duathlon athletes, but we are more predominantly a MTB group.

You are also welcome to download the STRAVA app and join the club to see your fellow riders routes, times and climbs on the leaderboard. (Club members only for ear end calculations and rewards)
