M.A.D Multisport Witbank

M.A.D. Multisport opened in 2007. It was the idea of Coach Mike Moriarty to provide professional triathlon coaching to athletes of all ages and abilities. A friendly, comfortable environment saw a rapid growth in numbers and a strong presence in tri circles throughout South Africa.

In addition to coaching in the three disciplines of swim, bike and run, Mike developed his own signature style of sports specific conditioning and functional training. This led to further expansion and the inclusion of a cycling and running club.

M.A.D. Multisport is based on the East Rand and operates out of the Boksburg City Stadium. In 2014, M.A.D. Witbank began operating out of The Hockey Farm in Witbank. Formerly the Witbank Marathon Club, this exciting group of vibrant runners and triathletes share the same ideals as the original club. More recently, September 2015, saw the formation of M.A.D. Pretoria. The demand for this popular brand is growing and the future bodes well for the club.
